Well the news as regards Irish Water, I have been informed that they are taking 100 of their vans off the road in the new year. This will have serious implications for those that will will have leaks - the wait for someone to come out might be longer. Also the meters will be left in the ground around the country not checked by sight as often as they should (one in four/five has to be replaced in Dublin due to faults already!) and as for the Irish Water excuse that they need these meters still to check on sourcing water leaks? . Well if the lads are more non-existent, they that still exist in their offices dont have the transports to get to the meters and carry their gear - the sourcing of leaks better because we have meters, is a joke of an excuse to PR spin by Irish Water and the government!
