Well...the results of the boys blood tests are in....Andrew and Anthony have NOT, and will NEVER outgrow their allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds and coconut. Im so heartbroken for them. No allergy present is a .01 Andrew is a 6. I asked the dr if he would food Challenge at that level and he said absolutely not, he is done, no more testing. He gave me Anthonys results and he is 100+!!!!! OMG!!!! Andrew was ok with it...hes so sweet and mature. Anthony cried...hes sweet And mature too, but he is just so disappointed that is crushes me. Hes always taken his allergies harder than the other too. It really bothers him to be different than the other kids. I explained to them that we are no worse off than we were before the tests...we live our lives the same way we always have. We can never let our guard down and there are so many children that have it harder than they do. They get it but as their momma, I was just hoping that the worry about everything they eat for the rest of their lives would be out of the equation. The positive side is that today my kids are healthy and thats what matters.
