Well the roller coaster has returned to its base for a moment. Here is the verdict from today, arrived at hospital this morning and they ran a slew of blood work, did ultrasound of arms and legs. So minus the DVTS I already had in my arms there are no additional clots in arms or legs!!! HOORAY to that for sure. My Hematologist came in to see me and had a better explanation of things, the PEs that I have are fairly small so that is the good news to all of this. There are quite a few, but the reason I am able to be home and not hospitalized is because BW came back pretty good, 200mg of Lovenox injections will be given daily ( Ouchie ) and coumadin already showing up in my system, he told me today he prefers Lovenox over IV heparin anyway and since we are so familiar with these injections, with bed rest and proper anti coagulation therapy and monitoring me every few days he said there is no reason to be laying in a hospital when I can do all of the same things from home. The Embolisms are not blocking my Pulmonary arteries but are in my Pulmonary veins, now is this like a get out of jail free card no, but it is far better than if they were in my Pulmonary arteries, so I feel so, so, so GRATEFUL for that. Hopefully with rest, blood thinners and proper watching there is a pretty good chance they may just end up dissolving, we can hope. I will be on blood thinners for the rest of my life though..not very happy about that but hey if it can help prevent possible more serious clotting in the future than hey I will do what it takes
