Well the time is drawing near..im so disappointed at some businesses and people in the community who have ignored my many pleas for donations of any kind. I guess I have to except the fact that there are different levels of hearts. Some are silver, bronze, and maybe even nickel. But my heart is gold and so many of us carry that same trait. Now I may push some buttons but I dont care..we cant do it alone..this entire ordeal is turning into a competition and it is making me sick. Instead, everyone all of a sudden wanting to do their own thing, could you imagine what an awesome day we could have pulled off if we worked together? Everyone doing something for recognition. .wanna b in the paper..on the news..etc. and for what??? America has a 2 week remembrance and grieving period. After that, all is forgotten, then who will remember? I will tell you who, the little girls in this community..some of which have never had a fresh hairdo, new clothes or supplies because their parents couldnt afford it..but instead of trying to make a lasting impression on a little girls heart ..some wld rather sell their foodstamps so they can go to checkmates but cant donate a pack of red hotdogs? Pitiful. My husband and I havnt gotten our kids ANYTHING for school yet. Why? Because we have explained to them the importance of giving of yourself first..God will take care of the rest. Last part, I have a client who lost her job, her car, cant work, has an 11 year old daughter who is 6 feet tall and wears a size 13 shoe...and her sneakers cost $200 for one pair. She has no clue as to what she is going to do but has still found peace and gratitude in her circumstances and has donated food and drinks for these little girls. She is always smiling, stays uplifted and prayed up. That is a pure heart of gold..she doesnt even know it yet but my husband and I are about to sit this blessing that God gave us to sit in her lap! Talk about me..say Kiysha talks too damn much..what she look like tryna be an example? Thats not what God asked me to do..remember that..he is using me for somthing else. .and I have a team of amazing hearts helping me..so let me stop saying I and continue to say WE. Yall have a blessed one and remember my opinion means nothing.
