Well the vet has been again today to do hopefully the last - TopicsExpress

Well the vet has been again today to do hopefully the last guttural tests on the last 4 who were slightly positive. She couldnt see any pus on the endoscope so we await with baited breath the results hopefully on Saturday. On another note, I was dismayed to get a call from a local farmer today who had caught someone riding through his crop who once again claimed to be from here! Our clear horses are now coming out of stables and being gently walked in the indoor school (the last 4 are still confined to barracks!) and nothing is still going past the yard gates and we still have our strict bio security measures in place just in case. Even without this infection, I would be very confident that all my liveries are far too responsible horse owners to contemplate doing this. It very much disappoints me that these people are still claiming to be from here when everyone knows we are and have been so open and strict with things. I also feel it shows a lack of respect for the farmer and his crop. These farmers work hard to earn a living and have no qualms when the fields are stubble to let us roam their land so without sounding too righteous I think common courtesy to our local farmers will earn all riders respect in return!
