Well the weather got the best of boat racing at St George this weekend with all racing cancelled and the meeting scheduled to be rerun late August .But the weekend did highlight a few things 1. You cant control the weather 2. St George Motor Boat Club has great lunches upstairs . and beers 3. It is fantastic to catch up with some great people in the boat racing community talk about the old times and boats and boat racing in general 4. My Crew Chief Kim Meikle lived up to her nickname Miss Chief and should not try and keep up with the seasoned professionals in the bar when racing is over or cancelled. I thought she was OK on the trip home but Simone reports now she is home she is trying to speak another language and thinks the white porcelain is some kind of phone. haha Thanks for all your help over the weekend Chief Generally a good weekend but some racing is what we travelled all the way for!
