Well, this comment seems logical but wait… If we were to base on this line of argument, then we can also say how come during a war, when enemy soldiers surrender, they are given food and water and even shelter? How come when our own soldiers play AWOL or retreat without permission they are shot down for being deserters? So the comment by Alex Chua, whom I know personally, is a bit twisted. We did not welcome those foreign intruders to our soil (Sabah) but if they have surrendered, it is within our human rights to provide food and water and even shelter for them. Of course, when we simply dish out ICs to illegals, then it is wrong but before we pass judgment on the government, we must investigate whether such action was by corrupt officials, officially sanctioned by the BN government or Anwar has a hand in it. The comment that police used tear gas and water canon on protestors (I suppose he is referring to the Bersih street protest), I feel many people have been misled or twisted things. I saw with my own eyes on video etc how Anwar seems to have given a signal and all hell broke loose with ruffians breaking down the barriers at Dataran Merdeka and people stomping atop a vehicle. It was only then that the police charged with tear gas, water canon etc. So be careful when you repeat allegations. You can fool some people some of the time, all the people some of the time, but not all the people all the time.
