Well, this day didnt turn out like we thought it would....we are inpatient now at Helen Devos Childrens Hospital here in Grand Rapids. We drove back to Michigan last night because Tristin was having tumor biopsies done today. We thought this was going to be a simple outpatient procedure but turned out to be more than that. Thankfully though, everything did go as planned and the surgeon was able to take samples of 2 different tumor areas to have analyzed for the genomics trial. But he did have to place a chest tube in his side and its causing a severe amount of pain. On top of all this, hes starting a round of chemo tomorrow too. Praying he feels better soon. We had hoped to come back home Thursday but he needs to recover from all this first.
