Well, this evening was rather eventful. Me and two other Berlin furs went to see Grand Budapest Hotel, which like many other Wes Anderson films turned out to be a superbly crafted utterly charming hipster movie. See it if you can. :) We also made tentative plans for the future: We expect to raid a local micro brewery on Friday and some time soon go across the nearby Polish border both to raid a particular craft beer store and to attend a music festival reportedly full of people belonging to some weird overlap of the furry, brony and hippie subcultures. Travel stories from the past were also exchanged, like the following snippet: Other fur: Are you familiar with Albania? Me: Yes. Been there twice, in fact. Other fur: Well, you know , right? She went there a while ago and narrowly escaped when a wild dog defended her from a mob of angry hobos. Oh yes. I love this city.
