Well this is a hard update for Roxie Neville that I am writing. Earlier this week Roxie suffered a massive hemorrhage in her brain. This was a hemorrhage that would have killed most people but we all know Roxie is a fighter. And she has fought hard her entire struggle with this brain tumor. The nurses and doctors also busted their ass to do what they could to make Roxie better. I can tell you one thing there were several nurses and doctors that had very heavy hearts when they had to tell me about the hemorrhage. But after much discussion with the doctors and nurses, I had to decide to fill Roxie wishes to never let her have the style of life that would not allow her to have quality of life she wanted. Her brain suffered a lot of damage from this hemorrhage, more than I could even begin or care to explain. So on Thursday morning I had the hardest decision to let things happen as God will let them happen. I am so thankful that Roxie was allowed to stay another couple days in the nccu, they are some of the best people we have ever met in our lives and by far they are what makes OSU the best place to go for medical care. So on Friday evening we moved Roxie from the Neuro Critical Care Unit to the hospice suite at OSU Ross Heart hospital. Please pray for her to have peace and rest easy at Gods will. Roxie is my hero, love ya babe!
