Well, this is fun. And, frankly, reminds me of that so-bad-its-awesome movie Night at the Roxbury with Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan head-bobbing to this song that will now be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. Working with Fred & Farid Shanghai, Sennheiser has released an interactive music video that can be controlled by someone in front of an activated webcam. The experience is aimed at promoting the company’s Momentum Duo headphones, and highlights the better listening experience one can achieve with headphones. When a user moves their head from left to right, the video shifts between two scenes — one in which 14-year-old piano prodigy A Bu does his thing and another in which soprano Bingbing Wang belts out some operatics. The genesis behind the idea, Fred & Farid tells us, is that, “Our heads have always moved to the rhythm of music. What if music could follow the movement of our heads?” You can check out the interactive experience here. To switch from Chinese to English, just click the “EN” button in the lower right hand corner after the intro.
