Well this is the BiG week!! F.A.M.E. fundraiser week!! If you are not familiar with F.A.M.E., please check out the website famesupportmusic Its a cause Tammy and I both feel very deeply about. It raises money and buys instruments for the local schools so kids who want to play in the band or orchestra can do so with no worry about the ability to buy an instrument. The instruments stay with the schools, so every year, more and more kids are able to play. Our main fundraising event is Music City, which takes place this Friday and Saturday at Pioneer Park on Dearborn Street in downtown old Englewood. Continuous live music on 3 stages, including a big main stage with professional sound and lighting. Lots of vendors, beer, wine and drinks, food, a terrific silent auction and much much more. Admission is FREE!!!!!! AND you will hear some of the best music in Southwest Florida with the some MAJOR local headline bands including Copper Head, Jack Mosley, and MANY more!!! Hope you can make it!! I will be playing on Saturday from 5:45 to 6:15 P.M. on one of the side stages and Ill be serving beer at the beer truck before that!! See you there!!
