Well, this morning started out with a big bang - literally. Ha!!! One of the landscaper guys hit a small rock while edge-trimming the lawn and *whack!!* - landed smack on one of my sliding glass doors! Oops!! He had earplugs in and didnt even notice at first. Lol! It was so loud, sounded like gunshot to me. But, I gotta tell you - I was totally fascinating by how the shattered pane of glass kept crackling and popping for ages long after the stone hit it. (Actually, I can still hear the glass crackling now, some 13 hours later!) It reminds me of that awesome candy that pops and crackles in your mouth! And then, as the sun was streaming on to the thousands of small shards of glass, the most beautiful rainbows and prisms of light were visible. Neato!! After I got a hold of a local glazier and ordered the repair, I got out my good camera (Canon Rebel T3i) and started shooting some macro shots, trying to capture the prisms. Hehee!! I couldnt find any two prism the same - how cool is that? Just like snowflakes and human beings!! Lovely way to start the day, even though I had to deviate from my planned morning for a bit at first. Its all about perspective, right?
