Well, this morning there was a really bad bruhaha about the cat food. King (tom cat) was eating and Cleopatra (female stray) came up and tried to shove him away from the bowl. That was a REALLY bad idea!! They were growling and hissing at each other, then King reared up and swatted after that Cleo attacked. I was folding the laundry out on the front porch where the food was. I had to step up onto a chair or I would have lost my ankles. There was fur flying everywhere! All of a sudden they broke apart and she took off with King hot on her heels. He chased her up an elm tree across the driveway. After a while King came back with his tail fluffed out about 4 times its normal size. He came back and started eating again.
