Well this sucks. A drug that is on the PBS for breast cancer isnt on there for pancreatic cancer, which it also helps with. I knew that already, because we had to pay the big quids for me to be able to use it, and its kept me alive for the past 12 months. Tough luck if you cant afford it. But now that its proven and was in the works to be added to the PBS, I figured it was as simple as adding it to the breast cancer category. I struggle to see that thats a worthwhile saving for Australian taxpayers. Maybe Im biased.
