Well, this video shows possible evidence to the other leak connecting to the ESRB leak. It seems pretty legit, especially since we are missing a few characters on that leaked roster picture and Sakurai recently said that each character gets 8 alts himself, and one of the leaked pictures of a trophy we saw was Larry Koopa in a clown copter, which he has never had his own before in a mario game. Meaning that he could indeed be an alt for Bowser Jr. Also, the info on Shulks 5 monado modes, and Guar plains being included as well are correct.
