Well... this was a weird evening. After a nice visit with some out of town cousins at another cousins house mom and I came home and she goes to lay down and suddenly realizes hey... there is a bird in here!!! Somehow with ALL the window closed and the doors closed and locked a bird was able to get into the house and from the evidence of knocked over things it was in the house for a bit. It is some kind of mystery on how it got in.. the only thing I can figure is that it came down the chimney to the heater and came in through the flew. And that is iffy since there was no sign of soot on the floor or around the flew??? This was not a real small bird either.. was a black bird... and was interesting trying to catch it without injury to it or mom or myself... ( mom just pulled the covers over head and let me do the catch and release work.. lol). I finally caught it by throwing moms robe over it and scooping in the cloth and let it go on the front porch.. where it promptly took off without so much as a thanks Ill see you later...lol. Anyhow excitement over Im pooped and going to kick back and relax for a while
