Well to say that today was pure torture is an understatement lol Tayten is okay, no worries there. To start, Tayten was taken back TWO HOURS after his appointment time due to them being behind. Then, Tayten kept waking up from anesthesia. He has never had an issue with sedation--goes under quick and easy and comes out of it quick and easy… but not today! He woke up 4 times, which ruined the images. This was supposed to take about an hour.. it took almost 3 hours! Because they ended up having to use a stronger drug to knock him out, he had a very hard time waking up. We tried every trick in the book! Finally, we got him awake enough and got discharged at 7:00-- 7 hours later!! The drug they used stays in his system for 24 hours, so we have one high, wobbly little boy on our hands lol We are finally home; Tayten is in bed and Justin & I may or may not have a cocktail in hand haha!! Doctors should have their images by Tuesday so they can prepare their plan of action for the big day :)
