Well today didnt quite pan out as we expected......when we got to Peter Mac for radiation, Zoe spiked a fever of 39.6! We didnt end up doing todays treatment and instead spent the best part of the day in Emergency at the RCH. Thankfully we were going there anyway as Lucy had a siblings day today which she loved and ate far too many lollies :) Were now on a ward and her fever is up and down, shes actually really well and just tired. She didnt want dinner tonight and was very specific about her demands.....she wanted a donut with chocolate and sprinkles, I caved and managed to get a pink one with sprinkles, it doesnt happen often, but tonights dinner was not a healthy one! Not sure how long we will be here for as her cultures have grown a blood infection, so now we have to wait to find out which antibiotics she needs. In the mean time shes on broad spectrum antis until we know which, could be another 2 days.
