Well, today has been a very good day indeed. A small claims court case which I was involved with on behalf of David Petters has been settled. I can now get my life back until the next court case rattles my cage. The problem was solved when I gave notice that I would summon a customer of the company as a witness, who they had upset and were very keen not to upset again. I also said I would be making a complaint to Companies House about irregularities which breached the Companies Act, as I needed evidence from Companies house to defend the claim. It seems to have focused minds very quickly. I said I would do this in the morning. I got an e-mail from their solicitor asking for an phone conversation. It seems they decided it was too much trouble. I hate to think of the costs. They had a barrister against us at the pre-hearing, and the solicitor has had a lot of correspondence to deal with.
