Well... today is D Day. I was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago today. Sometimes, it feels like yesterday. Sometimes, it seems like ages ago. Sometimes I feel empowered with how far Ive come. Sometimes I am overwhelmed with sadness, hopelessness and fear. I wish I could control how I felt about it, but with cancer, everything is so out of your control. Everyone with kids, please give them extra hugs and kisses today. Know how blessed you are. If they are grown and out of the house, call or text or email them today to tell them you love them. Cancer sucks.
