Well today is bitter sweet for me...Shelbi returned to school this morning since February when she got sick.. She and I have been around each other 24/7 since February and there were days when we were like 2 wet cats in a bag(haha), but I tried to keep her out of arms way since our trip to Colorado, and I am so very nervous about her going back to school..I have NO DOUBT that her teachers and the other staff members will watch her like a hawk and with that I am at ease.. As a mother you try to protect your children from all aspects of life, but when you have a child with severe lung problems on top of her other issues sometimes you feel like you cant do enough to protect them..I am really grateful for the 4 teachers Shelbi has this year and heres hoping and praying she does well...But as her mom I am still nervous and scared..
