Well today started off pretty rough. I misplaced several of my tax receipts I would need for my 130 meeting with my accountant. My dog Alf decided to run off while I let him go out to pee. I ended up finding him about 30 minutes later thanks to my neighbor Brian however in the process of finding him I dropped my cell phone in a field which took me another half hour to find. Needless to say I was unprepared for the appointment. In order to help with my mood I put on some Worship music for the drive B and I took to my accountants office along with some songs I would play for him when he was a baby ( I would turn on country music videos while feeding him in his high chair every day and he loved it). Suddenly I was in a much better mood and the tax appointment went great (benefit 214 of having an at home business, TONS of tax write offs!!!!! Cha-Ching). We left the office and drove home listening to some of my favorite Worship Songs like Light the Fire Again, Open the Eyes of my Heart, and Shout to The Lord. It is amazing how positive and uplifting music can help a bad day get better and provide Hope. Yes I still love my Hard Rock and Metal ( A Lot) but needed something different today.
