Well, today was a stressful one. Titan had deterriated more through the night last night to the point he was unable to walk today. We went into the ICU to see him this morning and he waged his tail a short bit when we got close. He tried to stand and get closer but was unable to. Broke our hearts. We left him in the doctors hands and waited... Then we got the call and the doc said Titans spinal tap was a success and there was no tumor showing in the CT scan, just inflammation. So he immediately started him on steroids. Usually there are only 3 different types of cells in the spinal fluid but Titan had 25 cells. They are growing cultures and trying to figure out what is wrong. He is still leaning towards sterile meningitis. Titan remains in critical condition for 48 hours from 1 pm today. The doctor said he is cautiously optimistic ... The best news we have received in a couple days. Around 5 pm he had a seizure, they treated him with valium and he came out of it in less than a minute. They said it could be from the procedure today or the meds. We get to go see him around 10 am tomorrow.
