Well today was an interesting day. The day started off swell when my friend and I spent several hours herping some of the tin lines in deep east Texas. Several racers, kingsnakes, milk snakes, scarlet snakes, rat snakes, red-bellied snakes, Coral snakes, TMTC copperheads, and a timber rattler were found under cover. After herping we both settled in for a quick nap on y couch, then my friend treated me to a nice early birthday dinner at Hemphill BBQ. I left the restaurant feeling quite content with the way the day had gone and headed for home. I was surprised to see Lorettas custom van in my drive way as I pulled into my property. I figured she was here to wish me a happy birthday and would then be on her way. As I walked towards her to inquire about why she was here, she very aggressively and intently rushed towards. As she started to near, I could hear her repeatedly yelling something at me. It soon became obvious that she was yelling HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOB! When she finally reached me she shoved a large envelope wrapped in wrapping paper into my chest. In my heart, I knew what was inside of the wrapped envelope. My heart sunk as I pulled out the papers and confirmed that they were divorce papers. I knew this day was coming and too be honest am relieved that it is here. But why did she have to serve me with divorce papers on my birthday?
