Well, today was the day that we were supposed to find out about Scarlettes cochlear candidacy. They were supposed to call between 3 and 5. The reason I didnt announce it earlier was because I had a feeling they wouldnt call and there was no sense in having everyone else in suspense like we were. Its now 5:15 and no one has called. I will call in the morning but I have a suspicion that they did not formally discuss Scarlette due to her having no current IEP. Her IEP is currently being worked on but wont be completed for 2 more months. Which Im guessing they will we be pushing their decision back until AFTER they have her IEP. Which means at best 2 1/2 months which is when she will be starting school, not to mention Mitch will already be deployed. We started this process in November. I dont often say this, in fact I try to avoid it at all costs, but this process is STUPID. The way this place drags out the candidacy so they can bill your insurance for as many possible appts before they deny, defer or by some miracle actually approve is RIDICULOUS. I still have faith that whatever God wants will be, but right know this whole thing is just STUPID.
