Well, today wraps up THE best and most memorable birthday - TopicsExpress

Well, today wraps up THE best and most memorable birthday celebration I have ever had, thanks to my supermegasweetheart fiancee, Jessica! Day 1 started off at midnight with awesome Mexican food and a surprise cake with candles. Then I got home to a big box of goodies including some trinkets and candies and a four-day-long mystery celebration. The box included eleven balloons, each to be opened on one of the four days and a hint as to which adventure she and I would embark on each day. Later that day, we went to one of those places where they lock you in a room until you solve the mystery - first time doing one of those, so it was cool! Of course we were awesome at it and made our way out well ahead of the one hour deadline. Then we went to Project Pie to make our own pizzas and had the best doughnuts in the Philippines at J.Co. After, that was the Timezone arcade and Guardians of the Galaxy at the Ultra Theatre featuring reclining seats! Day 2 was sushi and watching Hercules. Day 3 was delicious cronuts from the Bronuts stand and then a weekend food market called Mercato with an enormous selection of local foods to try. Day 4 consisted of a trip to the Ayala Museum where we saw the Gold of Ancestors Exhibit showcasing the many artifacts of gold that the Filipino people have used over the years for various cultural reasons and a sweet 50-step diorama that depicts the history of the Philippines from the earliest recorded history until now. Overall an awesome museum experience and only Jessica knows Im nerdy enough that I want museum dates for my birthday! Then, we had some savory chicken wings at Wingman and a stop by Irie Sunday reggae party at the B-Side venue. Lastly, and certainly not least, I was welcomed by my final balloon upon arriving home that informed me I had special birthday messages awaiting me in my mailbox. I promptly read and enjoyed each of the endearing messages my closest friends sent to me. It was so touching - thank you so much to those that sent a message - you mean so much to me. And the most heartfelt THANK YOU to my wonderful Jessica that so elaborately planned this birthday adventure for me. I appreciate you and the effort you put into this birthday celebration (and our relationship) more than you will know. And I now know that I and our children will have the most amazing birthdays courtesy of you, my love. And now I have a lot of planning to do to live up to this high bar you have set for me. Haha! Thank you and I love you more than words can express!! I cant wait for this life of continuous adventure with you.
