Well, todays been rather interesting...not a lot usually happens, except today, I first exchanged unpleasantries with the doctor (dont ask) and then I went to take some (impromptu) photos at the Lake to try and forget the ordeal at the doctors! ...thinking a little iphoneography would put what haunted me to rest or at least block it out for a little while. A little boy accused me of lighting fires (yet another unfair accusation, aimed at us poor little iphone photographers, cos they cant see we have a camera, so we appear to be acting very strangely, stalking insects apparently now looks like lighting fires in bushland). I almost got a portrait of a gorgeous butter yellow butterfly, just missed it!! Before that I was lamenting that theres never much there to see, when I came upon a banksia bush, and in it I saw a treasure, well two treasures appeared...the first was a Steel Blue Ladybird, only the 2nd one Ive ever seen and as well, a jumping spider had leapt onto me....so we had a photo shoot for a while, all this time, enjoying the warm Autumn air, full of the sweet honeyed scent coming from the delightful yellow grevilleas all flowering in nearby trees overhanging the Lake. Nextly, a little girl from the group who was further back, stacked her bicycle right in front of me, so I picked her up, checked her grazes and walked her back to the Rec Centre....proceeded to go back to my photography adventures, slipped down an embankment, went ass over and shed a little poor me tear plus sniffle.....dusted myself off and came home, all ready by 12:30 for a big big cup of coffee and a smile that its all over and Im safe and sound again in my little bubble. Oh, and plus!! Its my husband Scotts birthday today, hes a baby at 49 (Im 10 days his senior)...so Happy Birthday sweetheart!!! Hope youre having a wonderful day! :)
