Well, tried looking for mommies and daddies for the kittens with the traditional rehoming fee tactic to scare off unsavory folk. Everybody, and I mean everybody, was trying to get me to completely drop that rehoming fee. Okay, try again. No rehoming fee, but told interested parties that the would have to sit down and answer my questions about their living situation before a cat could go with them. Everyone stopped talking to me as soon as they realized there was a possibility of an interview. October is a scary month for cats, especially black ones. Just thinking about what some people do to cats this month makes me feel awful. Seriously, if you guys want a kitten, or know anyone who wants a kitten, we will set you up with food, litter, litter pan, whatever. We really want these kittens to be safe, and right now, its looking like the only way to do that is through the humane society. We would much prefer seeing them into the hands of mommies and daddies rather than worrying about whether they got adopted or not.
