Well, we are all smiles, coming off of the most amazing family trip. It truly was Mollys dream come true. Once I get more organized, I will post a little photo album. I will say I learned two things during this trip. One is there are AMAZING people out there. I already had an idea of this. We have been blessed by so many family, friends and strangers wanting to help and make Molly smile. This week was no exception. At Give Kids the World, the village we stayed at, they have over 1500 volunteers a week to make the whole thing run smoothly. Within these volunteers there are church members, high schools, retired veterans, and more. We met this great group of teens from a Christian school in Alabama. These awesome kids paid their own way ($750) to come and serve our family dinner, make my kids laugh, and put a smile on all our faces. Instead of using their vacation time to go to the beach or to Disney themselves, they came to GKTW. And you could not have met a better group of kids. The second thing I learned is that I missed Mollys smile. We hadnt really seen it in months. And I saw it so much this week. You can have all the amusement parks, souvenirs, and money in the world... her smile is all I wanted. And Childrens Dream Fund made it happen. Molly had a wonderful time and was just able to be a kid. We loved it and will cherish it forever. Thank you all who prayed for her health for this trip. We had very few issues and for that, we are so blessed. :)
