Well we are back from the cardiologist appointment. Brynley done absolutely fab!! He tolerated the big kids waiting room with 2 kids in, one playing on a Nintendo!! He then accessed the younger kids waiting area when no one was there and done really well to leave when kids entered, without hitting out!! He accepted his height and weight being done. Then with the support of his play therapist he managed to do an echo!! He then started to get agitated, anxious and aggressive, so the ECG was knocked on the head. We then saw the cardiologist who said his valve is leaking more and something else was enlarged and working more but the good news is he doesnt need OHS yet!! However if he doesnt do an ECG by next year they are wanting an MRI. The cardiologist has asked the play therapist to start working on GA either for the MRI or OHS. On top of everything else that is being asked of him. All of this was made achievable with all the desensitisation and work school have put in and the play therapist working closely with school!! Its took over a year to get to this stage but progress was made!!
