Well, we are getting all packed up for the hospital Monday. (Transplant time already!) I have never been more careful with laundry! First, I sanitized washer/dryer and my mom did the entire laundry room, then I showered before touching any clean laundry. Everything of Sams must be washed hot and then straight into a ziploc bag from the hot dryer. Everything is individually bagged and placed in a sanitized totes (organized for ease and efficiency of course- sometimes you just cant take the DM out of me;) * A HUGE thanks and shout out to my mom for helping me literally all day and to my dad for mowing the lawn!* We all (including my parents) went swimming between one load for a happy nighttime break. Now, Sam and Ava have decided we are having a party night tonight and they are still up... So I popped some popcorn - why not? ... After all, starting Monday they wont see each other for 4-6 weeks while Sam is in a bubble for transplant at the hospital. Once hes home she will be able to stay at home with us, thank goodness!!! I am not looking forward to so many things about the next several weeks but dreading saying goodbye to Ava for so long. I will see her during this phase here and there but probably not for the first 2 weeks. More about actual transplant later.... For now just a happy family at HOME ;) Thank you Lord for this time together: to remember there is a normal out there waiting for us!
