Well we are going to try our hand at cuckoo silkies, meet our regular silkie and non bearded show girl roo periwinkle and mistletoe . The cuckoos are still a work in progress so its very common to have very light skin/ beaks, and bright red combs wattles like these boys. We have them penned with two very nice black pullets with DARK black skin we are excited to see what we get next spring( hopeful for some decent chicks). As weird as these boys look we are happy to have some cuckoos in the barn even if they are more of a project pen :)
