Well we are home after a very busy 2 weekends with AKC followed by 1 1/2 days at home then onto EKC. Had 2 great weekends surrounded by a great dog show family who are always so helpful and supportive. Also met 2 new friends, Abba Mansfield & Andrew Mansfield, enjoyed their company hope they make a return visit to Canada soon. Wes got to show some fantastic dogs and thanx to everyone who helped cover when there were ring conflicts! Will miss our roommate Crystal Davies as we had a fun summer! AKC was busy but fun , EKC was more relaxing and we had more time for socializing which we always love. AKC results : Angus , as always showed great and took breed all 4 days and cuts in 3/4 strong working groups(1 day there was no cut). -He got to play with Viper, Anguss son in the puppy group ring. -Cane corso, Brinks, took breed on Friday, Select dog on Sunday and most importantly best of breed at the National Specialty!! He is now known as BISS GCH PrideNJoyz Bank Heist Eh CGN HIC! Bocai Aka Bob, also a lovely cane corso took wb 2 days to become a new Cdn Ch Bocai Corso of Bajer CGN. Molly , the cute bulldog puppy, took WB 3 of 4 days. Vogue, the stunning Great Dane, took 2 BOS, 1 breed and a group 3 and BOS in the specialty! She is MBPIG, BOSS GCh Valbydane Designed for the Runway. EKC- Wes got to show Mel, the lovely Am Staff, no love in group but he enjoyed showing her. Angus took breed all 4 days and took a group 3 and group 4 and the group 4 he was presented by Andrew Mansfield as angus was a little too interested in the smell little Molli had left on his pants. :) Molli the bulldog took WB and BOW and is now known as Cdn Ch Lenbullan Molli Maretta. Gregor our lovely boxer boy took BOW 2 days to complete his championship after only 2 weekends of showing , he was shown beautifully by his Aunty, Crystal Davies. He is Cdn Ch Newalbas Gregor of the Glen. Wes also got to play with Stirling the Roti Puppy and earned a BOW with him and to everyones delight went into the Havenese ring with Miss Moppit and won BPIB. Thanks to everyone for making these past 2 weekends unforgettable!
