Well we did it :) Ive woke up after spending the most amazing evening with the most incredible people. My mission isnt complete......far from it. My aim and my goal is working....AWARENESS. I want people to know that its acceptable to seek help after being psychologically affected by life events....which i have been. Ill just share with you a little chapter of why im doing this..... St.Thomas Hospital, London 2010 ive met an amazing man by the name of Barry Hughes. We sat having breakfast at the hospital and he said to me wheres yours?(meaning the cancer). I told him that i had 2 x extremely rare lymphomas.....he had the same 2. I told him that it had spread into my lymph nodes and he just looked at me and said its got you then. He also told me that the world of cancer would mentally scar me....which it has, which is why im doing what im doing. He came into my room and saw the photos of my children James LynnAbigail Palmer Lynn, and Harrison Lynn......he started to cry and so did i.We were looking out of my window looking at the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben shedding tears......out of fear mainly. Barry was dying as the cancer had spread to his organs.....i was a step behind but was still staged at 4a with a brutal prognosis of 18 months to 2 x years. Barry died a few months later and i learnt this via a phone call from his Son in Jersey where Barry was from. I was obviously devastated but also have gained so much inspiration from that man you wouldnt believe it. That is a little story that only makes reading of a very small chapter of going to Hospital in London for 5 x years..........hopefully it will make you realise why my passion is so strong for my cause. Last night was simply mind blowing, i was proud, i was emotional, i was sat with the people that mean so much to me.........especially my 3 x amazing children that were in the photographs that day. I really cant put into words how much i can thank you all for helping me raise this money and awareness....its priceless it really is. I like being different, i like to defy statistics and in this case im going to do it.........but i will say this......without amazing family and friends the fight wouldnt seem quite so worthwhile, but i have them both in bucket loads. The room last night was full of love, emotion, happiness, sadness, mutual admiration and so on. I cant put into words what this accolade means to me but hopefully you all know by now 1. Why im doing it, and 2.
