Well, we had a good time tonight! Approx. 20 people came---I have had as many as 50 and as few as 2!!!! But, we do it anyway! We always have a good time and the Vincennes crowd is just the best! We took a RED POT fountain box and a blue fountain with us! People were excited about getting this POT!!! Of course!!! They were taking pictures of the box and writing down the name on the box!!!! One lady even got on Ebay right then and there and found ONE for $85.00!!!!! I told them how this craze got started and the about our two heros!---Marty and Cynthia!!!! Told them the proper way to maintain them and keep them clean etc. That is, IF they ever find one! It will be very interesting to see what comes of this next year! One lady asked us to drive by her house on our way to Bobes Pizza and see the tropicals in her front yard---said she would have the porch light on for us! (her house was not far from the library!) She was so nice---she had these tall Cannas in her front yard and she said the hummers loved them! They were not like the usual Cannas! These have beautiful red TUBULAR flowers! I must search them on the Internet! She is going to bring me a bulb or two when she comes to my Lizzie Borden Program on Oct. 29!!!! Yay! See, these Vincennes people are just the best!!! And, I got a surprise when this lady came up to me when she came in--she was the first one to arrive and asked if I knew who she was ---I did not!--she was my first cousin!!! She is quite a bit older than me and I see her younger sister (who is also older than me) quite a bit, as she lives closer---but, I did not recognize her at all!!!! Of course, I never see her! But, that was a pleasant surprise!!!! All in all, it was a GOOD NIGHT!!!!! :) Thank you, little hummers!!!! :)
