Well, we had a long day of travel yesterday; a plane, two trains and a taxi and finally made it to Chateau Les Vigiers. While we were all deliriously tired I think we were all in awe as we pulled up to the Chateau. It is really stunning! The pictures online do not do it justice! They held the kitchen open for us and we had a late but divine dinner. Rick is proving to be most valuable among us for his translations but Kim is definitely holding her own and Dave and I are simply being agreeable:) Everyone here is incredibly gracious and friendly:). We have had some difficulty getting Wifi access but will attempt to check in on Facebook when we can:) Just had a late breakfast that was incredible and then the Chateau made reservations for us in St. Emilion for a wine tasting and tour. Absolutely perfect trip so far!
