Well we just left Childrens Hospital, follow up with the neurology doctor and they said that they did see some spiking on her EEG which is indicative of seizure activity so we are starting her on a seizure medication for at least two years if she goes seizure free for two years then we can talk about weaning her off of it they said even though theres no outward signs of seizure activity the brainwaves show that there is and the migraines are going to be treated. were going to start a daily medication for the migraines as well. They said she may grow out of the seizure activity so that would be a plus but on the other hand she may not. But she may not ever have another seizure again, also that its probably genetic because theres no other medical reason as to why shes had the seizures. So I guess this is the best outcome we couldve hoped for because weve got some answers and thankfully its nothing life threatening.
