Well we just returned from Charlotte Motor Speedway, running in Round 7 of the "Jack in the Box" Summer Shootout. Michael started P3 and took lead on lap 6. Michael led the rest of the race in his Stanley Steemer of Central Florida legend, until a 2 laps to finish disabled car in turn 2 caused a caution. Race resumed with a green white chekered finish and after the entire field took the white flag a wreck occurred in turn 2. Race director decided that though leaders were in turn 4 to throw another yellow flag after the checkered had waved. Another green white checkered allowed the car behind Michael Torres to put a bumper on him and slide him up the track...Michael finished 4th and I am very proud on how he conducted himself after the race over what many felt was a race that he had already won. Thanks to Steven Ross for another great setup and to all the fan support we received. Michael is no second in points and will return next week for round 8 with double points at stake.
