Well....we know that regularly schedule commercial aircraft cannot make any changes to their flight path nor altitude without full knowledge and control of ATC. That 10,000 - 11,000 feet sudden altitude change on an assigned Airway would have raised a dozen red flags....(a cockpit fight?..temporary loss of control pitching aircraft up to 49,000 ft )....and likely resulted in scrambled jets to tail it to find out why....and if the false passport holders got control of the aircraft by subduing the crew....and neutralizing the crew, and then turning off the transponder and communications....you can bet the military of someones nation went up for a closer look... Just a bit of post 911 conjecture here and a hard pill to swallow....but if terrorism was on board heading for China? Veitnam?.... you can bet no country is going to admit they may have had to shoot down one of their own ...!? And then erase it off the radar?
