Well, we still dont know a lot about moms condition yet, except that she is red, has had a mild fever, and doesnt seem to be aware of whos in the room except once in awhile she shows some slight recognition, but never fully opening her eyes to look at anyone. The doctor did not come back in this evening. Hopefully well get results in the morning from the tests they did today. They did another round of blood work, and they did more scans of her neck, chest, and abdomen. So far, we believe that moms hallucinations are caused by extremely high calcium levels. And there are several possible causes for that, one of which could possibly be some type of cancer. Another cause could be a benign tumor on the thyroid. And there are others. But we dont know yet. They are treating her to bring the calcium levels down, and weve been told that she should regain clarity in her mind when her calcium levels get back to normal. Please pray for my mother, Juanita Gentry, when you pray. And please pray for our dad, Lee N Juanita Gentry, and for my brother Robert Gentry, and my sister Debra Warren. And please pray for my wife Yvonne Dobbins Gentry. She was so sweet, she did not want to leave my mom and stayed with her tonight. She will be sleeping on the pull-out couch in the hospital room.
