Well we thought that its good for us to restate the IDEA behind GBCNs Birdwalks. As everyone is aware that we are a network. Network of individuals who care and are concerned about birds their habitat and their well being and by we I mean all of us on this group right now and all our future members. Our Birdwalks are aimed to strengthen this network by having monthly interactions between all members so that we all get a chance to network (real time) and share information, exchange notes, observations and knowledge amongst each other (apart from online medium). The Bird walks also gives everyone an opportunity to learn from some of the expert birders in the network who will be present at each birdwalk. An added bonus is that we hope at the end of each birdwalk bonds of friendships are forged among members and that will make us more a strong group of friends with birds being the focal point. The above post has all the we part and some might wonder where the birds are? For that, please be present on the 3rd of August :P :)
