Well, we were really hoping that the third time would be a charm for dads colostomy reversal surgery but it wasnt. Wednesday night he had to go back to the OR as the repair came apart. He is in the ICU, on a ventilator. He just woke up this morning, they had him heavily sedated. So, he is now aware of what has gone on. He will not be home for Christmas, as he had hoped, as we all had hoped. He is being pumped full of antibiotics to fight infection. Im so sad for him but glad that he is on the mend and made it through 2 more surgeries.
