Well, weve got some drama in the Lodge. Buzzy, who arrived at RMF with his pal Joanie a few months ago, is not a happy camper. Turns out Joanie was not the pal he had hoped for... she beat him up sometimes and was rather abusive to him. So we moved Joanie into a larger pen where she is happy to be by herself, but with still having neighbors to oink at. She is by the front door, too, so she enjoys all the goings on that she can see from her indoor pen and from her yard. We decided to let Buzzy be one of the free range pigs in the Lodge, which he is loving. He made himself quite comfortable in the blanket nest under the table in the kitchen. Buzzy has lost all the excess weight that he was carrying when he arrived, but he is still fat-blind, so he will be requiring surgery to regain his vision. The fatty tissue above his eyes will be removed and it will open up his face so he should be able to see again. Well need to soon start campaigning to raise the money for this sweet boys surgery fund.
