Well what a beautiful fall day for the blues its First Friday Art Crawl in the Brady District and Ken Busby is in studio this morning with Poppa Nite to discuss all the happenings tonight you wont want to miss. The Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa we have A Conversation with Jessica Harvey and noted author, Route 66 historian, and Co-Founder of The Route 66 Alliance, Michael Wallis . At the Living Arts of Tulsa we have Momentum exhibits Oklahoma artists ages 30 and younger in a venue created specifically for them, helping them gain experience and meet new audiences. Attendees encounter film, performance, new media, installation, music and more. The Brady Theater has Carlos Santana and the Hendrix Experience with Buddy Guy Kenny Wayne Shepherd Jonny Lang and others Saturday at Woody Guthrie Center The Amigos Concert @ 7pm also a public performance at 4pm The Amigos deliver foot-stomping, accordion-infused Americana music blending folk-rock, zydeco/cajun, and hot jazz. Rockin’ solos, dare-devil harmony singing, and wild western-wear have taken the Amigos from sold-out shows at Lincoln Center to the Philadelphia Folk Festival and Nashville’s Music City Roots.
