Well, what a day ! I went to bed about 0430 Saturday morning after a long session writing, when Iwoke up about 0930 I had a numb like gentle pain in the left of my chest and my left arm was also a little numb. Now, I thought that I might ave slept a bit awkward or something. During Saturday the pain in my chest and tingly numbness in my arm eased off but returned a little worse. This happened throughout the day. When I went to bed Sunday morning I didnt feel great but OK. Sunday I still had the numbmess and chest pain but didnt seem so bad, especially when I went with Laura to her Dads Tea Party in Crewkerne. When I went to bed this morning, about 0350, after another long writing session I still didnt feel too bad. I had only been in bed about 20 mins when I suddenly felt really ill. My left arm was now very numb, the pain in the chest was getting worse and strangely, I suddenley started to shake uncontrollably. I know decided to go to A&E as I thought that this was the signs for an oncoming stroke, or worse. Laura drove me to Yeovil hospital and we waited to be seen. I was poked and prodded by 3 different nurses and a doctor. I had an ECG check, blood tests and a mini physical examination. After waiting for about an hour the doctor came back and said; we have checked your blood and we cant find anything wrong. In fact looking at your ECG results you are perfect for a man of your age, weight and hieght. So to check I asked the doctor those that mean Im still Fabulous? The doc said indeed I was...:] Im now waiting to be refered to a cardiologist for further test. How strange. And yes, I feel fine at the moment. A big tahnk you to Laura for being by my side. :]
