Well what a fantastic turn out today for the July 20th Sounds Groovy open mic music club event. My thanks go out to all of the players. Keith Handley, Matt Mcgrath, Gerry Holt, Gerard McGrath, Acca Dacca Mick. Chris Rand, Tim Fatchen, Trev Sprigg, Graeme Mills, Jamie McPherson, Tikarma Vodicka, Warren Hearse, Dean Bird, Lynda Bird, Patchy Rain Kim Clay, Mal, Nat, Sharon Harding Cliff, Emily Steele, Jaque & Froot loopy. So much talent, So little time. Thanks to our groupies too, Suzanne Akers, Carey Akers, Mike Kuijpers, Kym Maree-k, Su Hall, & all whos names I forget. The introduction of a featured artist was a hit, I think & the two vouchers donated by Wright Guitars were extremely well received. Thanks Tim Wright. Thankyou to Margurite for her efforts with the raffles. Unfortunately we wont be having another gig at the Terminus Hotel, due to a lack of support. Therefore we are open to suggestions for new venues. We have a great product so lets find a venue that is deserving & willing to support live music. I apologize for my aloof mood today & promise that it wont happen again chief. Onwards & Upwards is the new motto for our elite group, ONWARDS & UPWARDS!
