Well, what a fun filled, tiring weekend. The sale went well, closed around 5 pm on Saturday then went camping at Rohrs lake. Mark and i tried to kill two of our 5 grand-kids this weekend. Shea is 8, she got off pretty lucky. Got to fish some and rode her bike, all around only two boo boos. Roasting marshmallows and ate one right off the metal fork and of course the prongs are hot so one blister right in the middle of her lip, then fell on the step and skinned her shin....Poor Ava (2 1/2) did not fair as lucky. She caught the first two fish, then the lake caught her. Climbed in a chair and it turned over and dumped her in the lake....Not happy, then we were cooking dinner, i guess grandmas reflexes arent what they used to be, we have a gas stove in the camper and she stuck her finger in the flame showing me the fire. Later in the evening she fell down two of the steps, then we set off those wish lanterns and she swiped hers with her hand and the wax block that burns and floats the paper stuck to her finger and burned a large blister on it. She is so tough and only cried a few minutes but man it looks awful. Finally decided to go to bed and all is well till Ava falls out of bed and i am half asleep and cant find her, can hear her crying but cant find her then she grabs my ankle, she was under the pull out sofa. Im not so sure we will ever be allowed to have the children alone again....
