Well what a horrendous last few days I have had. On Sunday I went on a track day to shake out the new bike and myself ready for the 2014 race season. There were many hiccups but very seriously the GSXR1000 my new race bike had serious engine damage and oil leaks. Got it home and took it to the countrys leading bike surgeon, professor Anthony Thornton. (Tony) I thought it was dead and would never recover from the catastrophic damage but Tony is one of a handful of bike doctors that can carry out this intricate procedure. It has had major surgery and will now make it to Brands! I would just like to thank the Prof and Deano (who offered a myriad of options if Gixxer died under the knife) for waking me up from the nightmare. Collecting it tonight then oil, filter, sump off clean all the blood and gore out, radiator flush and purge and prep for the 22nd (again!) The photos, Gixxer under the knife and The Professor at work, One of the major heart defects and post surgery repair!
