Well what a #manicmonday, non stop incoming phone calls with requests for help with support and food bank. Morning and afternoon packed with phone consultations. We have a busy week ahead for one 2 one consultations too.. We got a double bed out after helping an widower in hardship, 3 food parcel donations out feeding 9 people When we get clients in that are so emotional, speechless and proud when having to leave with the second food parcel (provided one last week to last until today as we provide ongoing support while they are in the that limbo gap awaiting new claim and we fight on with KSAS on their behalf) when never being in that situation yet registered disabled and vulnerable there is no one out there to provide help that we get our real rewards by knowing we as a whole community can make so much of a difference with no funds to hand given to support us from the powers that be, just Thanet pulling together reaching out support to whoever may need it. I will be writing back to sas Huge thanks to Cherelle Webb for the donations dropped in and to Erica Phinn For the lovely items dropped off by one of our volunteers Ashley Huntley. Huge thanks to our team yesterday, Kerrianne Barritt, Paul Cox Roofing, Scott Wilkins and Ashley Huntley for helping us through our weekly Manic Monday xx
